Hi all, looking for some help.

I am planning my plumbing and have an icecap 60w algae scrubber which has a 16mm barb inlet. I'm going to plumb it to a manifold but I'm not sure what I need on that end to get it to fit. The manifold is 1 inch PVC. I assume I need to reduce and convert but not sure what is needed

Thanks! So that's 1/2 inch standard to 16mm barb right? So I need to reduce the 1 inch PVC manifold to 1/2 inch threaded?

I read online that 16mm metric is just 5/8 standard, anyone know if that's true?
