what size couplers do I need for a 1 inch pipe and a 1.5 inch pipe

Not sure what your question is? Obviously you use 1" for 1" pipe and 1.5" for 1.5" pipe.
If you are wanting to connect one to the other you would need a 1"x1.5" bell reducer or a 1.5" coupling with a 1.5"x1" reducer bushing.
What is it you are trying to do?
