I only have the angle stop adapter that was included. I don’t have the garden hose attachment.

Unless there’s a 1/2” adapter

If it's like my washer, you'll need a holding tank. I use a 55 gallon drum with a MAG 18. The issue is that if you first put water in the washer, when you turn it on, it will pump it out and start all over again with city water. So you have to trick the washer by first turning it on, and once it starts to fill, lift the door and pump in the RO waste water. I also have timed my washer to know at 26 minutes it does a rinse, and I stop it and again refill with RO waste water.

I have an older washer. Not sure if that would happen or makes any difference. I don’t plan on running it the same time as using the washer. I’d rather use a y splitter where I can close the valves to direct the water. Honestly whatever works.

I use something like this but mine doesn't have the shut-off controls.

And then the garden hose adapter
