ok time to change my phosphate sponge again or my pod home I should say.every month or two I switch the peace out for a new one this is how I keep my pods. I put the new cut sponge in a pan of water from my tank just enough to cover three quarters of the sponge. Then I take the old sponge out and set it on top of the new sponge so that there is no water touching it. I leave it for a while and then come back and pick the stragglers off of the old sponge this video is what's left.
