My 75g sits between the Dining room and Den and is in view from the Kitchen and front door. Because it's in view from the front door on Halloween I get a lot of foot traffic in the house because the kids want to see the tank closer, freaks out the parents that are waiting by the curb seeing their kids walk into a strangers house.

Mine is in my "man cave" . Its where I spend 90% of my time. This way the wife and daughter come see me more haha. Also this lets me keep a better eye on the tank, so it never goes out of sight out of mind.

We built a house and one of the spare bedrooms with the closet backed up to the plumbing trunk I stubbed out for a sink removed the doors and its now a wet lab dedicated to my reef.

I didn't vote because my townhouse is currently being renovated. Current plans are for a 90 in the back room, 93 cube in the living room, 55 in the master bedroom, one bedroom for assorted tanks and the other bedroom for reptiles. I can't decide if I should put tanks or a table in the dining area. Hmmm...maybe a tank and a small table?

37g Nano reef in living room, 120g Planted Fancy Gold fish in Dining room and 75g Cichlid tank in bedroom. 180g on order that is going to divide living room and dining room. Once 180 in no matter where you sit in the living room or dining room you can watch one of the tanks :)
