Hi So I just recently bought a Rasta Zoa Polyp about 2 days ago and it was securely glued on to the frag plug when bought and I wake up and the polyp is missing nowhere to be seen the only fish I have in the tank are a Blue Hippo Tang 2 True Ocellaris Clowns and a Male Green Mandarin also have a few blue legged hermits a very large nassarius snail and some mexican turbos as well as a red serpent star so i'm sure none of these guys touched it or ate it but I guess anything is possible Iv already tore apart my rock work looking for the little guy but it's nowhere to be found any ideas on where it could have gone ??

Zoa polyps are very skilled at drifting off a plug even after being glued down. Its easier to have them attached to some substrate, and glue that down, than to glue a polyp straight to a plug. Good chance that happened to yours.

It could be almost anywhere at this point. I had the same thing happen to me but I found it about 6 inches away from the plug laying on the sand bed. If it is constantly moving or even a gentle movement will be enough to keep it from opening. Look for a closed polyp or maybe you'll find it six months down the road as a colony.
