Do you have the fish barn heated? Or are just going with tank heaters? With the large Volime of water, any temp change will be slow.
1500w oscillating fan driven ceramic floor heater. Keeps it at 71-72 with no issues. When I finished the mini barn, I used spray foam insulation under the floor and then r30 in the walls/ceiling. Still some air leaks here and there, as it is old. A little cheap A/C keeps it cool in the summer. Both are controlled by a Honeywell temp controller I saved from the trash when I did some automation work for a machine shop.

The nems in treatment are now all with their first full 24 hours of zero deflation.

2x Mags have been that way since received, but were gaping a little. They are now not gapping.

2x Sebae had tight mouths, but were going through deflation/inflation cycles.

1x Haddoni was gaping and going through constant deflation/inflation cycles.

Haddoni just took a good size dump. Perfect timing as it is now water change time. In the pic, its mouth is a bit puffed, but is slowly returning to normal. Hoping these guys keep this up, as they are doing well and 3 more nems arrive tomorrow and not sure if they will need treatment or not. Either way, I have more spare tanks, heaters, HOB filters and ATO lols.

Mag 18 pump and a gyre 1k for some wave action. Actual deflection is none. At least not able to be measured with a tape that has it down to 1/64ths on it. Good enough for me.

Now time to finish the stand and get the fish barn cleaned out.

I’ve always wondered .
Deflection can’t be measured with a measuring tape .
but if we were to use a dial indicator which reads 0.0005” would it be detectable ?

Not sure. It is thick glass so it would be minimal on this tank. I would think.

It is also braced on the bottom, so I am sure that helps some.

Either way, seams look good after all this time and moving it from one side of the mini barn to the other, by myself lol. It is also not rocking serious wave action now. Just enough to get the macros and gorgs to sway back and forth.

That's a ritteri, also called a mag. He will know the Latin name, But even that is awesome.
Lol. They are Heteractis magnifica. Sadly I know the spelling by heart. That is my favorite type of nem.

That pic is very close to RL. Blues are only at 1% and whites are at 100 for the pics. Can’t find my lens, so blue any higher blows it out and makes my phone pics look nasty. Weird thing is, that light setting lets me take as close to real pics as possible.

Yes. They didn’t need treatment and neither did the big green nem. After a good poop, treatment was pointless. 48 hours with zero deflation and the mags ball up at night. With them doing that, no issues.

If there are issues, I now have enough cipro to treat the Gulf of Mexico for 7 days, so we all good.
