Good pics. If you want a video, the best way is to upload it to Youtube and link it.

Sometimes, lymphocystis will show up after a copper treatment. I actually would lean toward something else going on. Possibly flukes, or ich, or something else. What copper product did you use, and at what concentration, and for how long?

I didn't see ich but I did the copper as a precaution. It was cupramine at .5 for 14 days then these weird things started growing on him almost looked like aptasia or a feather duster. So I did a 95% h2o change with a little bit of copper and then treated with paragaurd for a wide spectrum of things. After 2 days the things were gone but the discoloration came in. He's still eating but he does this strange rocking back and forth thing?

So I come home from work and this is what I see he's still breathing so he's not dead but he did come out when food was introduced but didn't eat......

I agree - that doesn't look good. Is the tomini the only fish in QT? At this point, you may be looking at damage control. That mottled skin discoloration is similar to the other tang issue here - it just doesn't point to anything specific though.

Your description of what they look like sounds like flukes. The rocking back and forth in the video is probably to force more water through the gills for oxygen. Try to increase flow in the tank.

Wouldn't the paragaurd have taken care of them? Sadly I just got home from work and he was dead...

Not familiar with paraguard but flukes are normally treated with the same medications as worms. See if the paraguard has the same active ingredients. Sorry to hear that you lost the fish.

Not sure about Paraguard. Ingredients just say malachite green and proprietary ingredients.

For flukes, a freshwater dip will remove many and also confirm that you have flukes. They drop off and look like grains of rice. Then hit them with prazipro.
