i am in the process of setting up my 30 gallon. 24x24x12 so the foot print is rather large and there is about 20 pounds of rock so it is also very open. this is a open top tank. i was thinking about a few blue reef chromis (Chromis cyaneus) maybe 3 or so, a orchid dotty back (Pseudochromis fridmani), a pair of z stripe clowns (a. bicincus).
here is where the list gets iffy. i would really like a sunburst or fathead anthias. would this be doable?

I would say no, both get rather big 4-5 inches. If you get them young enough they might be able to for a little bit unless they are big swimmers like tangs then I'd say definitely no.

anthias are active swimmers along with the chromis... but chromis would be better off than anthias..
