Potential Breeding??

Good evening and happy Friday. I currently have two clowns that are showing some signs of some funny business going on. So far I’ve witnessed…

-Smaller male ‘vibrating’ next to the female
-Currently don’t have an anemone, but they have picked a front corner of the tank to call home
-Have started cleaning of the closest rock nearby

From my research, that sounds like it’s a matter of time til I come home from work and see eggs. I wanted to see if anyone noticed these similar actions in clownfish and what were the results?

(No name for the female, the male is named Demetrius, after Demetrius ‘mighty mouse’ Johnson, any name ideas appreciated:-) )

How long have you had them? If not long, it may just be a way for them to establish hierarchy. If you've had them for a while, then they may be getting ready to make babies.

Their only middle aged. Clowns can live into their 40s.
