I installed a piece of plywood in one side of the legs of my stand. Attached the controllers to one side, and the ac to dc adapters with wire duct to the other side.

I've since added a quarantine tank, 500 watt pc style power supply, and battery backup that isn't quiet as clean as these photos. I would do it again for the simplicity, adaptability, and expansion potential of a sheet of wood.

P.S. be sure to leave easy access to the cords for the pumps for removal and cleaning.
I really like the idea of having them hidden behind a false wall. Really no need for them to be showing Anyway. Thanks!

I attached eggcrate to the inside of my controller stand then used velcro strips to hold the power supplies. This allows air flow around the power supply as they tend to get warm sometimes. Wires and cables I'll secure with sticky backs and zip ties.

That’s a great idea. I was thinking about something along those lines but using rubber coated wire mesh of some sort. But I think The egg crate would be lighter and cheaper. Thanks!

I use 40mm x 80mm slotted trunking to hide my cables and it’s also wide and deep enough to hide the power blocks. They have been running like that for over a year with no overheating issues. The plastic trunking lid gets slightly warm but that’s telling me it’s carrying away heat.

Wow! Nicely done. I agree, this stuff is great and I use it myself. Makes a huge difference. You can even paint it to make it blend in even more.

Yes Velcro will hold those power strips. That super duty Velcro is my best friend! I use it in pretty much all of my hobbies! They hold up to 15-20lbs. I used them to mount my power bar when I was running that setup. I used them for holding batteries down in my 80mph rc truck. I used them to mount bilge pumps in my boat so they don’t fall over. I use them to attach dope cards to my riflestocks. They just work! When I got my apex system, I built a hinged controller board out of 3/4 plywood. It has a lock on each side so I can drop it down when I need to work on anything behind it. There’s nothing wrong with a bit of Velcro, duct tape, and zip ties ;Hilarious

If you are looking to replace power supplies and cords depending on your pumps the Hydros WaveEngine is great.

Personally I do not like bundling wires together..

Makes it much more of a pain to get something out when you need to clean or maintain. The harder something is to clean the less often it gets done.
It can slow you down if there is a emergency too trying to unbundle all those wires.

I have bundled wires together or ran in a chase and built many control panels with the wires behind and while they look nice they are inconvenient.

If you go this rout just run them nicely but separate.

As for bundled wires, twist ties is a good alternative to zip ties!

Looks good. Nice and clean look.
Are your dosing tubes getting kinked up at the heads? Hard to see from the pic but looks a little tight like it should be raised up a little bit more.

Thanks, yeah I wish I did it a little differently, if it gets moved to either side too much it'll end up blocking the flow to one of the first 2 heads, but thankfully it doesn't get touched and is working fine for now.
