I’ve done my research and read quite a few posts on power strips and have narrowed my decision down to the following two. The Tripp Lite ECO-Surge 7 outlet surge protector with 6 individual switches & P3 P4330 Kill a Watt PS 10 Energy managing surge protector.

I will have 8-10 pieces of equipment to be plugged in, and I do plan on getting an Apex in the next year or so.

Let me hear all of your experiences, pros & cons or if there is something totally new out on the market.

Thanks in advance.

i've used the trip litte a fwe times now, works great, if you plan on getting an apex the only thing the killwatt strip does to my knowledge is monitor power and act as a timer, if you have a lot of stuff that needs to be timed on/off it might be worth the extra cost, if not stick with the triplitte

you can get power strips that you can control from smart phone and alexa now. some will have power consumption monitoring even.

Does the Kill-A-Watt strip also act as a timer? That's compelling.

the Kasa strip is great you can add several to the phone app and can turn things off and on as well as schedule outlets easily,
