Looking to frankenstein my rodi system with the new one. Need to pick up a pressure booster pump

My current rodi is a hodge podge of two systems. 6 canisters plus 75 gpd membrane.

I am looking into running the RO membranes in Series, Dual DI resin canisters, Dual Carbon canisters- one regular and one for chloramine, and then multiple step down in Micron sediment filters.

I have 13 cartridge housings - 3 DI resin holders, 2 RO membranes, 3 or 4 Cabrons and a bunch of sediment. all practicly new, beside my current RO membrane.

What would you do?

I am always on the look out. Only way I can afford this hobby. I did promise the wife this was the last one. Luckily I think I have everything I really want/need other then automated testing. Which I am hoping to trade some of this for.

But I did warn her that this will get a lot more expensive. She claims my time is expensive also. Little does she know what this hobby really costs!

For a small fee, I will not send her links to coral and fish vendor sites.

oh she knows what those cost. That is why I keep her out of the LFSs and she doesn't go with me to frag shows anymore! its also why i wound up with a juvenile emperor angle and my porcupine puffer at the same time, because they were friends.....and a couple big corals from a trade show that she had to have

Tank is currently being ran by an Apex A2, in this mass hording event I now have acquired an A3 Pro, I also have found 3 FMM modules.

The A3 pro is basically an A2 with built in FMM.

Do I or is it worth it to upgrade to the A3 pro or sell it and use the FMM on my existing A2 system? I also have a backup A2 brain sitting here on the shelf incase anything happens to the one I am running.

Anyone running a apex PMUP ato pump from their basement to their tanks? Claims a 14' head. My run is only about 7' vertical but 30-40ft horizontal.

I had planned to use the Dos to pump my RO to the tank. But now thinking if the pmup will do it I may have it fill a 5G reservoir in the stand and continue to use my current ATO- old JBJ unit - to transfer from 5g reservoir to tank. This may be a backup incase something goes wrong so it doesn't dump 60G of RO into my tank. May drill it for an Overflow line to go outside

Got Two of these 5G ATO reservoirs with the heist last night. $172 each new !!

Testing the g5 xr15 blues that I picked up. Wanted to make sure they are all good before throwing them up for sale.

Only have 2 of the halides on. Still running the 4100k.

I like the colors mixing the heavy blue with the 4100ks

Makes me look forward the the 10k and actinic bars

I downloaded the app and ran them in a bucket of vinegar water to clean them. They move some decent water. Not enough to be the main character but definitely enough to help keep things moving in tight spaces. They are pretty small.

I should be working on swapping the transmission in Tahoe right now. Instead I am playing in my basement.

Added the 5g AI ATO resevoir to my stand in place of the 5g bucket.actually able to close the stand now!
Put the apex atk float and sensors in the ATO resevoir.will feed the ATO resevoir that is in the stand with the RO water in the basement and Going to keep using my JBJ ATO that is currently topping off the tank.

Good call. You won't need the Tahoe for anything until you score more stuff or go to the LFS.

Non fish update. Tahoe is on the road. Used transmission for the win.

Back to fishy business.

Thinking I may stick with the A2 apex instead of jumping to the A3 I just got. I have a second backup A2 sitting here also. I have FMM modules and that seems to be the only difference. Will probably sell the A3 to help recoup funds.

Built my custom Aquabus cable earlier and about to go test it. Start adding all the modules and the second eb832 and both dos

Gathered all the rock up from the heist, some nice pieces. For size the boards they are sitting on are 8” wide.

Feel free to post your aquascape. Need some ideas. Going to build a new scape and let it cook / cure and transfer in the tank
