Predator tank, try again?

The first time around, everything got sick, treated for ich, fish started dying, eel jumped out and I gave up after that. Tore everything down and out. So my 90 gallon has been sitting empty for a few months now. Instead of looking at an empty tank just sitting there, I was thinking maybe trying again. I am so discouraged though. What do you think?

I would say it like this... if you would do it all the same way as the first time - same aquascape, same fish, same qt method - then you would likely have the same result as the first time. So I think it comes down to what would you do differently to improve the chance of success?

Consider either setting up a proper quarantine system (and following the Quarantine Protocol) or sourcing all the fish from a place like Dr. Reef. Also set up a properly sized and plumbed UV filter, one that has specific flow requirements for parasites vs algae.

Agreed but i would use Ozone over UV. Same result, less cost/effort

Interesting, I didn't know you could use Ozone for parasite control.
