Prefect Size

what is the perfect size aquarium? I have a 100 gallon but am wondering what members think is the best size, for maintence, stability and all around general ease?

I think anything above or around a 50 gallon aquarium if perfectly suited for a reef aquarium.

For me I like the idea of a smaller tank, so I'm going with a 40br and the standard 75.

bigger is always better, but more expensive for overall maintence once you get up there in size. I love my 100g now, but want to get an 8' long tank here in a couple of years, so there is no such thing as perfect

it really is case by case

I have a 180 that is perfect for the area it is in

But other times a 75 or a 52 was perfect

180 glass or 220 acrylic :)

I think my 180 glass is perfect. Enough length to satisfy the "tang police" and small enough I don't have to work 3 jobs to maintain.

For me it is anything 75g or bigger and in the 4' long range.

Well I believe bigger is better! I already have a 220 and am setting up another 125 in the near future! Maybe I can do a "build" thread......

I have a 90g and I feel its the perfect size cause you can make the sump bigger if need be. 90g gives me tons of play room for errors on my part and plenty of space to "build" yet small enough to where i'm not overwhelmed.
