Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a tool I’ve been working on called FragX. It’s built for reef hobbyists and vendors to get a clearer, more reliable view of coral pricing across the market.

I originally built this because I kept running into the same problem—having to check multiple vendor sites just to figure out what a coral is actually selling for. With how much prices can vary depending on source, naming, and availability, it’s not always easy to tell what’s fair.

FragX is meant to simplify that process by bringing everything into one place.

Current features:
  • Search and compare coral prices across multiple online vendors
  • View a broader market range instead of relying on a single listing
  • Identify pricing patterns, including listings that are significantly higher or lower than average
  • Save time by avoiding the need to manually check different stores
Additional functionality:
  • Google login for quick and simple access
  • A trading section where users can list and explore coral trades within the community
  • Designed to support both buyers looking to make informed purchases and sellers trying to price competitively
The goal is to make pricing more transparent and give people better context when buying, selling, or trading corals.

https://fragx.app

The project is still evolving, so I’d really appreciate feedback from the community. If there are specific stores you’d like to see added, features that would make this more useful, or anything that feels off, let me know.

Thanks for taking a look.

Great app! Are you scraping pics and data from vendor websites or were you able to find public APIs? I’m making a similar app (ZoaTracker) for my software development course.
