Just wanted to share some recent pics from my tank. I love to see new growth and I’m seeing lots of it now. Plus the corals are starting to color up from the eternal brown stage.
Would love to hear any suggestions.
Couldn’t have gotten this far without Reef2Reef.
Thanks all for your guidance

Hi guys. Please forgive me for constantly adding pics but I’m fascinated by these magnificent life forms and love to share them with my fellow reefers. Just the idea that I’m able to sustain life by learning here on Reef2Reef and applying what I’ve learned gives me a huge sense of accomplishment and pride.
My system is very simple and my corals are no where near what I’ve seen in other post but they’re mine and growing and thriving and it’s awesome!
So here I go again….
Enjoy

Sorry for a couple doubles. This old boy hasn’t mastered the art of cellphone use.
My wife and I have a favorite time of day where we chat and just relax
8-9 PM EVERY NIGHT
In front of the tank as the blue stage fades into dark
It’s amazing and better than tv any day!
Good night my Reefing fam.

Hey guys wanted to revive this threat! My name is David and I just got back into this hobby after about a 5 year hiatus. I am currently the proud owner of a Prostar 200 that has been cycled with a few fish introduced. Currently it has been set up for 7 weeks.

Equipment includes:
AI Hydra 64 X 2
IA Nero 5 X 2
Sicce 6.0 return pump
Reef octopus 200SSS
Motion activated under cabinet LED from Costco

Lifestock includes:
2 naked clownfish
4 red firefish
2 Barrlet anthias
5 blue/green chromis

The aquascape was created out of dry rock and glued with superglue and E-Marco 400 cement
I made a control cabinet out of starboard to keep all the cords and controllers organized.

I don't know if anything came about the R&D with the surface skimming situation but I am definitely having the same issue.

Future plans include:
Larger auto top off (Im thinking something on the outside right side of the aquarium)
The new Redsea doser
