Ye old Profilux firmware update problems….

My wifi on the lux hasn’t been working for some time - I decided to tackle the issue once and for all.

I can connect to the lux wifi access point but no matter what changes I make to my wifi - it won’t connect. I don’t even really see the attempt.

I’ve since moved on to the firmware update. I downloaded the 1162 control center - and did the update to the USBV driver - which now discovers properly - however whenever I try the firmware update - it fails.

I’ve also tried to do the wifi firmware update - same issue - I can connect but when I click start - it immediately fails as so all of the other options.

Any ideas?

Sometimes - with some PC - there is a difference between the com port for the USB when it connect to the Profilux and the come port the driver for the FW update use. When you have connect to the GCC and press FW update - you will get a question if you use the right come port for usbv uploader. Check the actual come port in windows and use that. If you do not understand my cryptic language - please comeback and I will take it step for step with my test P4

Sincerely Lasse
