I am currently running a 250 watt xm 10 over my 30 breeder prop tank...upgrades planned down the road are an upgraded reflector (lumenarc), but for right now i need some opinions on actinic supplementation here are my options...

2x24" watt t5 retro

or

2x24" vho retro

the t5 setup is brand new and the vho retro is used and upgradable to a 4 bulb setup, both cost about the same including bulbs, i am leaning toward the t5 unit because it more efficient but will the two bulbs have enough affect of the 10k lamps?

i like VHO for supplementing halide, I have always like VHO actinic bulbs (i used to use the higher end URI)
