Protein skimmer help!

So we recently bought the Aqua Excel HOB hp. I followed the very spotty directions the best I could and have attached a video showing it after I turned it on. I could not find any helpful how-to videos for this specific skimmer so I’m hoping someone can help me out.
I apologize for the video, the color of the skimmer makes it hard to see. I read skimmers need 24-36 hrs to produce the skimate? I just want to verify I did this right and just need to wait. Thank you in advance!

Should be making bubbles...is the airline hooked up?

that is not how they work at all. it should look like it is foaming like crazy take it off and tank a pic of it. make sure its all hooked up correctly. what I think is air is in the line and it needs to be primed. my skimmer fills fast you will see a ton of bubbles reaching near the top

looks like in vid it is trying to pump but it can not/ air pocket/ something is not hooked up right. did it come with directions
