In my sump I am running a charcoal reactor, UV light and a Protein Skimmer. I am getting a lot of tiny bubbles in tank. When I turn off the skimmer and look in sump I notice they decrease, What is the likely reason? Loose connection? The skimmer is a Simplicity 240 DC. BRS single cannister charcoal/GFO reactor with a Sicce 1,5 pump. Prior to the addition of the charcoal reactor I saw no bubbles so could it be that is the culprit?

It's probably the skimmer, but you could probably disable the carbon reactor to verify. It's either a case of the skimmer needing to be broken in -or- it needs a bit more air (adjustment).
