Hi, boyfriend picked up a Pseudocheilinus evanidus that was misidentified as a different type of fairy wrasse. His plan was to put him in a 40b with a banggai Cardinalfish but after learning it’s similar to a six line wrasse he’s convinced it’s going to kill/hurt the cardinal. The only info I’ve found is that this wrasse cannot be with other wrasses, but does anyone have experience with one in a smaller tank with only peaceful fish? I don’t want him to rehome him for no reason.

i cant think

As long as there’s no other wrasses present and it’s the last fish added it shouldn’t be an issue but just for some more information, what is the stock in there?

Thanks for the response! Just a brittle starfish, the Cardinalfish, snails, hermit crabs, and a bunch of coral
