Hi guys , any sparks out there to tell me I can do this ?
I want to replate my psu that’s lost its copper plating with aluminium ( not aloominum haha)

Do you want to just replace the end?
If you would like to replace the whole psu we need pictures of the whole thing with closeup of the specs and we can certainly find a replacement

How often do you plug/unplug for the platting to wear trough? The barrel is solid metal, so even without plating it should still make contact unless the underlying steel is heavily oxidized.

Is that aluminum foil wrapped around the barrel? It may work but I would be worried about it slipping and shorting out.

PSU specs? As said either replace the power supply or the cord end.

Thanks guys
I opted on chucking it and getting a replacement
Weird thing is it’s only even been plugged in once
I unplugged it in attempt to reset it after getting false readings and it came out as a plastic end
