I think puffers are generally fairly loner type fish and like their own territory. What size tank? Technically you can do it as I know there are atleast multiple in the ocean but its not recommended.

Large enough tank, maybe, I'd say something in the 90g range. If you can get a male/female better, or 2 females; 2 males will be more apt not tolerate each other. There is a way to sex them you'll have to research that.

Depends. Do you really, really like snails? Mine is otherwise an upstanding reef citizen.

I care more about Shrimp than snails, especially Cleaner Shrimp and the Tiger Pistol that I’ll get for my YWG. Other than that snails I’m more willing to replace. What about their compatibility with corals?

Mine did go after my cleaner after about a week but I very much think it depends on how hungry they are. My invert list is some dwarf ceirths, hermits and an urchin. He hasn't touched a coral from what I have seen. Likely not a good idea with shrimp but some have done it.
