Please provide more information about your fish and post some pics of your Majestic also.

This is either a fin ray issue or lymphocystis which is viral and not a disease. As puffers are messy housekeepers , assure water quality is good. Ich will multiply every 24 hours and I dont see this as ich. Please post video of angel which are often susceptible to flukes.

The puffer is a young one and is in a 150 with a baby majestic and a juvenile fox face the tank is over a month old and stable. He is acting normal but my 90 just has a bad ick outbreak and now I am stressed haha. The puffer and angel came from the same store and were put in about a week ago. They were drip acclimated and my parameters are and have remained stable.

I recommend quarantining with puffers using either coppersafe at 2.25ppm or hyposalinity at 1.009

With fish like like this , you have to consider QT regimens and prepare for any illness. A quarantine tank can be as simple as a tank from a second hand store, a Rubbermaid type tub or a starter kit from Walmart which most of the needed essentials.

The store I purchased him from is one of my friends and I know that they quarantine their fish before they put them out on display for 30 days and so I did get him quarantined and that’s where I buy all my fish from just because I feel it’s safer to buy quarantine fish than it is not obviously. But I looked at him today and he looks perfectly normal so either it was something in his immune system. Beat it already or it was just lighting mixed with thick slime coat.

How hard is it for me to QTin the display tank? It is and will always be a FOWLR. So I never expect these rocks or sand to be used for inverts or corals.

It’s not but if using rock and sand with coppersafe, will be a challenge maintaining copper levels and if hyposalinity, may impact the bacteria level

Are all of the fish still eating? I haven’t seen the pics of the majestic angel, but if she has cloudy eyes and fins, I would lean towards flukes. Angelfish seem to be magnets for them, and I almost always have to treat them whenever I get a new one in QT.
