Hello reefers,

i just Purchased this jebao dct 20000 for my 360g tank. Didnt want to get two pumps. My output is 3/4. So the pump has reducers.

Heres the setup. Let me know what u guys think.

Pump + 1" barb + check valve + 1" barb + Y split reducer from 1" to 3/4

Looks good to me. I want to see what others will say so I am tagging along.

I'd put unions on either side of that check valve. In time it's going to need to be removed and soaked in vinegar.

Any specific reason why you don't want two pumps? Cost maybe? Reason I ask is the advantage of having two is you now have a back up if one fails.

I thought about it. It would be Too much crap in my sump. Lol i want to keep it simple. Plus this pump has "feeding mode" With controller for flow rate too.

I do have extra pump as back up.
