Pump Question /Opinion Please

Just purchased the Red Sea 425XL and now looking for a return pump. I was going to purchase one from Red Sea so all my parts would be one the same app but our local aquarium store has recommended we go with ecotech. They believe the Red Sea pumps just haven’t been out long enough to prove themselves. Especially if I go with Radion lights. They use the same app.
Anyone have an opinion?

I use Vectra and I am happy with it, but for return pump you are not going to be using adjustments or various modes that often. It’s basically once and done settings, so it doesn’t really matter if you are using separate app for it.

I have Red Sea Lights (and Radions), Red Sea Doser, and Red Sea Wavemakers, so I was thinking of the same thing. The Reef Beet app is great and just got an update in the last few days so looks good also. I do use a Vectra L2 for my return pump and have used them in the past with no issues, so its hard for me to switch just because it will all be the same equipment (except the radions) so I would say go with what they are recommending.
