I am resetting my tank and I will be adding auto water change. I will be using a 20 gallon Gamma Vittles container for holding and mixing the saltwater. I will add a pump to it and have it plugged into a smart outlet and turn it on once a day for an hour. I am wondering what is a good pump that will last and not die from the constant on and off and provide enough water flow to move 20 gallons. I have a spare Maxi-jet 1200. Will that work, or should I look into a different one?

I do have a couple of sicces floating around. I was planning on using one for pushing water through a carbon reactor instead of using the manifold. My whole system uses a Sicce Synchra. I am big fan of Sicce. Thanks
