The power went out at my house during a storm, but was only out for 15-30 minutes. After the power came back, lights, pump, ect all came back on perfectly, but I notice one of my three circulation pumps didn’t turn back on. The pump that didn’t turn back on is plugged into a surge protector with the lights, yet it is the only thing to not work. Any idea what happened?

I know we have that issue with our old marineland pumps and we have the same with our mag drive pumps. We just tap them a few time to get them going again. Don't know why they do it.

I used to have a Koralia pump that would do this on occasion. Why it happened I don't know, but a little tap to the impeller would usually get it started again.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
