I tested a PuriResin pouch out and it worked well. I have never regenerated them before though, so I followed the 50/50 bleach/water instructions and let it soak 24 hours. I noticed after pulling the bag out of the bleach solution, the beads looked white, similar to originally but once I gave the bag a shake I noticed it really only bleached the surface and not deeper into the pouch.

I redid the bleach wash again and similar results. After that, the color does not really seem to go back to white. If is more of a mix of light and dark beads now.

I rinsed and prepped it for reuse, and it is working well, just not the original color. Just wondering if it regens to full capacity or if it diminishes over time?

So I got some pics this time, both back to back, one before mixing the packet and one after mixing it, after soaking in bleach. Looks like the solution does not penetrare when sitting still.

48 hours at 50/50 bleach and same result as previously. Looks like it never returns back to its original color. Not really sure how to measure if it's absorption capabilities ever return to original without setting up a controlled experiment.
