Today I'm purchasing a stunning little Haddoni from austinaquafarms.com. Spoke with Matt and seems a very easy, laid-back guy to do business with. I've kept these carpets since I was a kid and love them. The bright colorful ones are always so crazy expensive!! Every purple or blue one I've ever seen for sale run $350++++. This pretty lil guy was only $199, a terrific price! I'll post once I receive it tomorrow, but if you're seeking a Haddoni, get in touch with matt!!

I trust Matt. He's been doing this a very long time.

Beautiful anemone! They can be fish eaters
I have very few fish and the ones I have I'm not concerned about. My purple tang, diamond Goby, and Mandarin are it and they've been around carpets before. Thanks for the warning!

Hmmm... that photo makes it look even more like a gigantea. Does it have spots on the underside of the skirt?

BTW, aside from tan, purple is the most common gigantea color, followed by blue, then green.

Why is blue more expensive than those other colors? Supply/demand?

On some sites the purple is more. Just depends and I'm certain supply/demand plays big role. Still no idea why reds are 600++++

Thx for visiting from RC. Haha.

I'd bet a million dollars that there's purple dots with a colored foot under that skirt.

It's 100% a gig.

I'm having trouble getting a good photo but it's smooth white with blue foot. No spots.

I have emailed him with a link to this thread and asked him to respond. If it's not a Haddoni I want my money back.

Okay best video I'll get as he's attached to rock. This help at all?
