What are you doing in the video? Are you trying to move it?

Really can't see anything in the vid or the previous photo. However, given that it has firmly attached to the rock instead of burying in your substrate, I think it makes an even stronger case for it being a gigantea. It looks like its in good shape from the video. If you don't want it, I'd be happy to take it off of your hands.

I would agree...I've owned both and sure looks like a Gig....regardless its stunning and you should be happy with it and the price :)

I sense your gaining much happiness from my situation?
Yes because a gig is worth $300 not what you paid, but twice as hard to keep. I see this all the time and I love when people get the two confused.

"Sir, what kind of anemone is the little green one.?" "That's a haddoni." "How much much is he?"
"He's $49.99" "Ohh, I like that price. Bag him." :D;Hilarious;Hilarious

Any reason why you would want one over the other?

The gig is a lot more rare, more expensive, stunning, and probably the hardest anemone to keep on the planet in it's 1st 3-4 months. If you can get one through that period, they become pretty hardy.

Dude, just trust me.. It's a gig 100%. You got a good nem. The question becomes are you ready to take care of him. They can do well one minute and deflate the next. I suggest you overnight some Cipro asap as you will almost surely need it if you haven't kept one before.

You may get lucky and have one that is very healthy and acclimates easy, but the ones like that are very difficult to find. Good luck! Don't say I didn't warn you. :p

So what differences are there in care for a gig vs Haddoni. I have lots of Haddoni experience but know exactly jack about these. Any advice appreciated!

Matt has agreed to sell me a Haddoni of my choice at cost. I'm very satisfied with my new Gig carpet and that resolution [emoji4] it really is a beautiful purple carpet!
