This can get contentious and argumentative, but we all have different ways of handling these animals. I used to drip acclimatize anything going into my tank. After speaking to a guy who does such things for a living and has done so for decades, he said that once you adjust the temperature, drip acclimatization only makes us feel better. It does little to nothing for the animal. I stopped doing it years ago and haven’t had a single issue ever. To each his own. It doesn’t do harm and if makes you feel better by all means do it. Many do.
