PVC overflow siphon broken??

I just make PVC overflow
It's not working

Looking at your pics if you lower the (t) on the right side it should work. they look like there at the same height.

I may be loking at this wrong but this is what I see .
Looks like the left side is too deep . Have u tried to prime it with water in the upper tube . I would say u need a valve in the drain line. U gotta block the drain to get it to prime ..How are u going to restart it after u lose power and also that drain line on the left side is in the tank . That would be a lot of water going in to the sump after a power loss. Did u drill a hole so the siphon will break ? I would shorten the left side tube and remove that last part on the left . It would need to be vertical and capped with mesh so u don't have a snail get stuck or lose a fish .

Defiantely the problem IMO, lower the t about 2 inches, Your siphon has no head pressure the way it is. Also..dont forget you need water in both sides of the overflow to get the siphon started.

i would lose the loop under it and the value, there is no need to restrict the flow. also you said it was glue, air from it leaking will cause problems and stop it from working right.
