Ok, so my Dottyback got the funk and was pretty bad off 3 days ago. Luckily she is the only one in my Nano and we are quite attached to her. We = kids and myself o_O I practically I tore up the tank trying to catch her to put her in the hospital QT. At first I didn't think she was going to make it through the night after treatment. I used "Kordon Safe Copper Aid" Day 1 in Qt - she hid and was breathing quite heavy wedged under a power head (visible ick). Day 2 in QT she was still breathing heavily but she did managed to eat (no visible ick but discoloration on top of head). Day 3 in QT - doing fantastic! Eating like a champ no longer hiding and darting all over the tank. Very happy! So my question is how soon can she get back into her home? Thanks... sorry send from a phone.

She needs to be at the therapeutic levels of copper for a full 30 days, and the tank must be without fish for 76 days to starve the parasites out effectively. You should test your copper levels to make sure they are in the 1.75-2.0 range as needed for chelated copper (which I am almost positive your product is, but the bottle should further describe) :)

Glad she's doing well, I love my little orchid!
