Any issues with running a carbon bio bag and a bio sponge filter (it’s a cheap Walmart 5 gallon and comes with a whisper filter and bag of carbon). I figure the bio sponge filter aerated the water and provides a place for beneficial bacteria and the carbon will strip out some of the other junk. It’s bare bottom with only a pvc piece.

Thanks!!

If your going to medicate in QT then you don’t want carbon. If your just observing then carbon is fine.
