Hi all,
Does anyone have a link to a cable I could use to control my Quanta Helix lights with my Apex system? I see a hydros cable readily available but can’t seem to find one for Apex(probably looking for the wrong thing). Thank you

Isn't the dim wires on the Helix just bare ends?
So just use the above cable. If you prefer attach any plug set you like. It's low current (pretty sure) so any type of plug should work.

^^^^^^This is the cable needed for the Helix and Atlas when using apex.

You’ll have to get something like this and attach the wires. Hydros has the quad cable but you have to cut off part of the cord and strip some wire.

Gotcha, sorry I saw that you mentioned Hydros and didn't want the OP to be confused. Cheers!
Looking back at it I can see how it can be confusing. I was honestly lost how to do it until someone from Facebook walked me through it lol

OR...just pick up premade.

Looks like this would just work if you only have a single light correct?

It depends on the acceptance of the light and its controller. I have 3 Phillips CoralCare Lights that only take up 1 Channel on the 0-10v Quad Cable.

HYDROS Mono jacks are TRS.

Some lights operate on a TRRS which would be those 2 channels you refer to.

At the end of the day, those HYDROS Quad Cables have 4 Channels of Control, how you wire it for your needs is up to you. :)

Here is an example for Nicrew lights @JeffB418 did for the HYDROS Forums:

Can someone help me here. I’ve tried pretty much every permutation I can think of trying to get these to work with my apex system. But no luck. I am using the apex dimming cable which has 2 cables coming out of it each with 4 wires

Apex uses red as negative and black as positive.

I figured it out after realizing what was happening and how the lights work. I had to create one variable output to just turn on and off the light whereas the other variable output has to be set to the ramping feature which brightens and dims the light

Do you know if Quanta Helix lights can be connected this way? I have to Helix light bars and a Hydros WaveEngine v2. I also plan to the Hydros smart powerstrip to control on and off schedule, but would like the wave engine to be able to control both helix dimming functions.
