I added sand in my quarantine tank for my diamond goby. It didn't do anything with it. I was doing tank transfer method, so I didn't add any sand on my subsequent tanks. Had no issues. He's doing extremely well in my display tank.

I made a short divider 2" tall in my qt tanks. I can add a min amount of sand for sand sleeping fish.
