Hey guys! I have a 100 gallon softie tank and I’m planning to start LPS now. I’ve started dosing to get my parameters correct and I’ve got those new hydra26 lights which my softies just love.

Now the last thing I need is proper quarantine. Does anyone have any tips for successfully quarantining LPS corals? I have a clip on cheap Chinese LED light, and water parameters are perfect because I’ve just made a fresh batch using Red Sea coral pro salt. But I have dosing stuff on standby obviously in case I need to increase levels.

Any other tips? Should I keep a fish in the quarantine tank? And how long to quarantine for? Is it actually 72 days??

Qt is the best thing to do with anything wet. 76 days is good enough.

Can I put a fish in at the start of the 72 days? That will stop the tank from recycling right?
