Quarantine tank setup...

So I'm looking at getting my quarantine tank setup. What are your thoughts on cheap stuff from petco/petsmart? Buy one of their cheap 1 per gallon 20 gallon tanks a cheap glass heater and a cheap sponge filter. Or do you all user something different for your QT setup. I want to keep it on the cheap. Also what meds should I have on hand? Thanks in advance!

I’ve gone Down the cheap route , bought a second hand tank and a cheap heater and filter , it a qt , it’s not on show so it doesn’t need too be fancy just practical and functional! Just my opinion!!

As your original post stated just get a petco dollar a gallon tank, cheap heater, cheap hob filter and call it a day.
Don't get me wrong, used is fine for what it is a QT but that being said I have seen people grab used tanks and end up with a crack(s) or a broken tank.

I did the Petco / Petsmart thing for my qt. Works great.
