I have 2 ai primes with the following schedule the first peak is at 35 watts and the second is at 26 watts. Now this is for each light they are 8--9 in off the water. I have yet to get a par meter for them but wanted to see if this was enough. I have been running it for awhile and my zoas and shrooms love them along with my lps but I'm starting to get more sticks. Do yall think that is enough or should I raise the intensity some more?

What kind of tank do you have?

Most people with primes seem to run the AB+ variant by BRS. And have lots of success.

I personally run WWCs prime schedule over my nuvo 10.

But your settings looks pretty close, only I'd personally run less Whites during peak and maybe throw in just a little red and green for spectrum and maybe keep the nlues a violets up. WWCs has red green and white all at just 10% during peak. They seem to know what their doing so I stuck with that.

Why the change change in intensity? So many peaks and valleys. A flat plateau for peak intensity is better. Only way to know if you have enough light is a PAR meter.

It's called resperation and it's intended to replicate cloud cover and give corals respite from a constant intensity.

I personally don't use it, but plenty people do with success. Imo it probably doesn't make a difference either way.
