Question about my duncan coral

Hey,

I just started my first reef tank and just got my first duncan coral.
After looking at some images online of these corals, I noticed that my coral looks nothing like them, not even small frags.

It looks like a SPS to my beginner eye, it has many small polyps.

Can you guys tell me if this is an actual duncan coral or something else?

Picture is a bit fuzzy, but to me it looks like a finger leather coral

Could be, the polyps look really similar.
I can't figure out how to get good pictures with a DSLR under the blue light :(

Definitely need a better pic. Looks like a leather, does it move around? Or is it more Stony, cuz that would be SPS.

Try under white/ yellow filter.

That's a leather or actually looks like a carnation Coral. I'm sure other people are going to post that no more about this.

Yep, I agree with everyone else, not a duncan, definitely a leather of some sort. Easy beginner coral.

If this is a carnation coral it's most likely non photosynthetic. You should definitely read up on them because they're not easy to keep.
