How do I delete some?

I see a check box, but I can't figure out how to delete them?

I just tried one. Check the box and the drop down select "leave conversation". It did deleate it from my list.

Yes it is. :)
It's not really rude if that particular topic is finished imo. Another topic can easily be started.

I don't think so. I clear mine out when the topic is complete unless it contains some key information that I keep as a reference.

Yeah, I keep a lot, but in some cases I have several separate conversations with the same person (like you) lol. I haven't deleted anything since November, and I've got more conversations than Carter has Little Pills.

If you select leave conversation but accept future messages, to my knowledge the other party is not aware you left the conversation. It's when you choose to not receive future messages that it notifies them you've left the conversation

It will not give a notification, but it will show the user name on the side as no longer present in the conversation with a strikethough on the username and a "X" on the corner of the avatar.

That's true. I found a couple of conversations with my boss @revhtree where he left the conversation. I'm trying not to take it personally and develop a complex. lol
