I'm going Bare Bottom for a Coral/invert QT.

Question: I've bought enough Innovative Marine's Snap Loc frag racks to make a egg crate base. Problem is, it floats. Any ideas on something to use to hold it down that won't corrode over time, or hold undesirable parasite eggs?

Won't the coral be an egg magnet?

So far, I've found a Schedule 40 4"X 2" reducing bushing. That's heavy enough to hold it down, but I don't like the fact that it's not black, nor that it's so big.

I know it's just a QT, but it's in my living room and I want it to look as aesthetically pleasing as possible.
