Question regarding macro algae

Hi, I don't know which section to put this thread under so I put it in the general discussion section. My question is if marine plants/marco algae can be QT'd with fresh water or very low salinity water? or can they be treating with copper? I guess you can tell that I am trying to prevent the plants from bringing ich eggs into my DT

No and No. They are Marine Plants. If you are worried about bugs and eggs, dip them like you would a Coral.
