1- Is fluconazole reef safe?
2- Also when I do a search online for fluconazole, I get nothing that says fluconazole on it. So is fluconazole just an ingredient or the main ingredient?
3- if I were to buy something, what is the name of the product or products that I am looking for that contain fluconazole?
4- My LFS recommended a product called Vibrant. Have you ever heard of this or know if it would work for my problem (killing green hair algae)? I was looking at reviews on Amazon and it got pretty good reviews, but so did several other products.

1 - Yes, I have used it in several systems with fish and corals with zero impact on them

2 - Fluconazole is the active medical ingredient. If you 'Google' it, you are likely to get feminine hygiene products as fluconazole is technically an anti-fungal.

3 - Sorry, I'm not going to answer this question directly (due to the medicine being restricted where I live), but it likely depends what country you are in. You should easily be able to find 20mg capsules in most countries (by using Google).

4 - Vibrant, as far as my understanding goes, is essentially a form of carbon dosing. Fluconazole is an enzyme inhibitor, so it will 'attack' the bryopsis directly, while dosing Vibrant will feed the bacteria which consumes the nutrients the bryopsis needs to survive, thus starving out the bryopsis.

My problem is green hair algae. I found these 3 products, but I don't have experience with any of them.
Any recommendations?

I used Reefflux, think that's how it was spelled, off ebay. Worked like a charm. I let it work for 3 weeks then did a water change.
