Hi all I’m about to get serious in my 92g tank w/sump and want to order the copepods combo pack from Canada Copepods. I’m worried since the temp. Outside is below 0 celsius. Will my pods freeze and die rapidly or do I have time to collect delivery and use? Thanks!

They taste ok frozen, but they don't survive well if you want them alive. Maybe best to wait until you travel and can keep them warm or until the spring thaw in 2019.

Allright too bad pretty hard to wait as I’ve been on this tank for 3 months and it seems ready enough. I’ll try to find locally but doubt there’s any around my place. Thanks.

I would check with the company and see if they ship with heat packs.

Right I’ll email them. Guess pods aren’t like frogs ... good to know. I do have an epic snail who survived for 20 mins in a plastic container I brought outside to break up a piece of lr. Put it back in DT and resurrected xD
