Seeing how this is the "Questions and constructive criticism (hopefully)" thread, I was just strolling through reviews on BRS's website...

Triton receives high marks for product content, but 12 out of 13 posted reviews made negative statements regarding either the change to cardboard cartons, leaking containers or lack of availability.

Still think there is not a problem?
We all know there is a problem but u going on rants does nothing honestly nothing.
Ur mad I get it.
But stop just stop this thread was dead for 15 days but u wanted to prove your point and boom here we are back from the dead like the undertaker every wrestlemania

Guess what we’re at The same place we were 15 days ago triton has a problem with milk carton boxes ur 267 messages haven’t changed any of that from happing. And magically they haven’t built a new business in California in since those 267 messages either.

Ur making a big deal over something that can’t be changed so save your energy And reviving dead threads.

Triton works for me if they want to do something for the earth I’m all for it I had enough bottles to hold me over for a year.

I’m sorry triton stole ur lollipop but instead of stomping around go get a new lollipop from ati.

Noted, we will keep you in the 7%.

It will be interesting to see if you feel as strongly when the time comes to replace your bottles with leaking cartons (assuming you can get them of course) - hopefully by then you won't still be paying the penalty price as well.

I have gotten three batches of cartons that haven’t leaked
The only thing I do not like about them is that 3a and 3b crystallize other then that same product suck it up when they get them in stock buy them and stop wasting peoples times with ur silly post about the 7% ers as triton is obviously doing just fine without you as a customer seriously go to ati

Ahhhh, so you are back in the majority that likes the content, but still has an issue.

Honestly, are you happy you didn't receive the price reduction on those three batches you should have? If you are it would be interesting to understand why.

To me it doesn’t really matter I don’t feel I am owed anything because we now get milk cartons instead of bottles.

What would honestly be the difference in the price four or five dollars? If I’m worried about that maby I should pick a cheaper hobby.

Whether u want to beleive it or not just because the packaging changed doesn’t mean the product did. My results inside the tank are still the same that’s what matters to me. Not the packaging it comes in. They didn’t raise the price if they did that I could see me being “mad” but it stayed the same price. So I see nothing to get my panties in a bunch about.

If I really needed triton like I had two days left of dosing and my order came in leaking I could also see my self being mad but not at triton at myself for not having extra on hand.

If your return pump breaks on a Friday night are you going to be mad at the pump or yourself for not having a back up? It’s why I try to have two of everything because I decided to House animals inside my tank I took on that responsibility so it should be my job to make sure these animals coral or fish not just survive but thrive in my tank.

Getting mad at a company for trying something new isn’t the way to make this hobby better

Well, reading this thread was a waste of time. All of this over a successful company and a milk carton!

I normally don't jump into these types of discussions but figured I would because I'm a triton user. The price reduction that we haven't gotten does t bother me. I found out a long time ago that if your looking to pinch pennies this hobby may not be for you. Whatever decrease we are not getting it's easily made up by buying less expensive corals, fish, equipment. Many people worry about the price of something. If it's that big of a deal I would suggest not buying it. Everyone has a tipping point but I realized the price of triton isn't mine.
