I was having an issue where my RODI Booster Pump was making a racket upstairs in my living room. Enough that the wife was not pleased...hence, my life was not as calm as it should be. It wasn't that the pump itself was loud, you could hear it, but nothing major. It was due to the vibration of the wood echoing in the walls. So, I decided to see what I could do to fix the issue. I wanted a way to fully isolate the pump from the wall. I ended up buying this on Amazon....
I was shocked at how much better it worked. When I turned it on, I had to put my hand on the pump to make sure it was actually running. The only thing required was to drill out the holes in the booster pump mount as these were a little too big for those holes. I suppose you could try the next size down, but these worked great after drilling out the holes. However for a few bucks and 30 min of installation time, it was well worth it!
Here is the pump mounted with anti-vibration mounts...(it's mounted upside down in order to provide a shorter run for RODI tubing.)
