Still can't post in the app.

Hi there! We're trying to figure out this issue, but so far the app is working in all of our tests for creating threads or replying to threads. Can you maybe take a video of what is happening? If we could see the steps taken, it would help us to find and fix the problem. Thanks!

I checked the day the email was and it worked.

Unsure whats going on but i cannot post photos on the app. I also cant find different forums on the app, cant figure out navigation. However everytime i try to post a photo i get a google pixel message saying that the app encountered an error etc. uninstalled and reinstalled and had no changes. Device is a Google pixel 9 pro.

The newest update to the Android App is LIVE!

You can now:

• View photos in a swipeable gallery
• Select multiple images when posting
• Ignore users directly from their profile
• Tap thread tags and prefixes to scroll more content

We’ve just released a new update for the R2R Android App with several important improvements:

• Improved BBCode parsing
• Enhanced image and media handling

Hmmm...that's a strange one. I tried to recreate it, but it's all working for me. Can you maybe take a video and post it here or send it to me via DM? Having a video would show us all the steps leading up to the issue and allow us to maybe diagnose the problem and repair it.

It happened again and I didn't make a video (don't know how and not learning discretionary new stuff until after I get this tank situated.) I was in Aquarium Equipment and created a new post. Pressed 'post thread' and it asked me to select a forum. As I was already in the correct one, I pressed 'post thread' again and nothing happened, it just hung. Closed the app. Reopened and initially none of the threads appeared. Had trouble logging in as my user and PW didn't load (I guess that only happens when I access from an email.) So I did the email route and was in Aquarium Discussion when I added a new thread (have learned to copy posts to my clipboard! Only need to add title and readd photos ) and this time it did not ask me where I wanted to create it. (If you can move it, that would be great.)

Like another user said, sometimes spell check doesn't work but it is now. Really, I think there is an issue with server or network being over capacity and it isn't being handled well, on your end or mine. Not geeky enough to know what signs to look for to differentiate that one.

NEW SYMPTOM: Was replying to a post in my new thread. Pressed post and it hung for a few seconds but a notification (convert screenshot to a pdf; this same one in my gallery that I was including in the post) popped up and then the post went through. Memory management? Way to geeky for me!

At least on my phone. Also tried rotating (auto rotate is turned on) to see if they were off the screen and it didn't rotate.

If this is just my device, please dm or reply. I want to know if this is just another reason to hate my Samsung.

Some pictures not showing.

But i can tell from other posts that some people can see them. Is there some way to determine the file format or source data location so i can figure out why my device aren't displaying the image?


Coincidentally I forgot the screenshot from my gallery and then i edited post, added the image, did a preview (bc it seems if i don't, the image doesn't attach), saw the screenshot within my post, pressed 'update' and then the screenshot changed to the 'no image' clownfish.

- It often logs me out with a message saying 'user not available, returning'. I have to log back in about twice a day.
- Sometimes I see a completely empty screen and nothing loads. I have to force close the app, reopen it, and log back in.
- Some images don't load at all (work fine on web)
- YouTube videos don't play for me, it says 'This video is unavailable'. If I try to open them in a new window, I get an error. (work fine on web)
- Today I noticed a new bug. When I go to Categories - Fish Discussion (or any other forum), I can't see any threads. It says 'no threads in this forum'.

i've been getting a lot of that as well. Also on android.

Can I ask what version of the app you are each currently using? You'll find the version number at the bottom of the settings page.

I'm on 1.0.8. When I checked on Play Store, it said there were no new updates.

I'm not able to vote on Android. I even tried logging out and back in. It just says it failed. The login issue is also still present where it kicks me out and forces me to log back in at least once a day. App version 2.0.2.
